Volunteering with CMC

Individuals interested in joining our panel of mediators may fill in the online volunteer registration form. You can also print the form and mail the completed form to:

Community Mediation Unit
The URA Centre, East Wing,
45 Maxwell Road #01-13 Singapore 069118

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to undergo the Community Mediation Centre’s (CMC) basic mediation training programme. Candidates assessed to be suitable will then be eligible for appointment as a CMC mediator.

Mediators appointment ceremony
Our Mediators are formally appointed by the Minister for Law for a two-year term, renewable upon review, at an appointment ceremony held every two years. In the interim years between the biennial appointment ceremonies, volunteers who join the panel are appointed for one year. These volunteers join the rest of our panel at the next appointment ceremony when their one-year term expires.
