I was admitted as a candidate for my law degree on or after 1st May 1993
Under Rule 5 of the Legal Profession (Qualified Persons) Rules, you are a “qualified person” if you fulfil ALL the following requirements:
(a) You were admitted as a candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Laws by the National University of Singapore on or after 1st May 1993 (see Rule 3 for the definition of the date of admission);
(b) You passed the final examination for that degree; and
(c) You attained at least Lower Second Class honours in relation to that degree.
Note
Please note that if you are unable to meet one or more of the above requirements, you are not a "qualified person". You may wish to consider alternatives for working in the legal field in Singapore.
