What MinLaw Does


The Ministry of Law plays three key roles:

  • Oversees the development of Singapore’s legal system to ensure a sound legal infrastructure and develop Singapore into a world-class legal services hub
  • Reviews and formulates policies to optimise Singapore’s land resources and create new value through innovative solutions
  • Develops policies and practices to establish Singapore as a vibrant intellectual property hub.
